Miami-Dade Green Party participates in Martin Luther King Day Event,
Miami-Dade Green Party will participate in an Interfaith event sponsored by the SEIU Union and other groups at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, in South Beach. Various interfaith leaders will speak and preside over the services at the church whos theme is remebering Marting Luther King's push for fariness for working people This will be followed by a Social Justice march to South Pointe Park.
Greens will march with signs and literature emphasizing the anti-war and anti-poverty message of Martin Luther King.

M-DGP promotes a Forum on the Drug War
This is a multi-media event with speakers, panels and performances all related to the chimeric "War on Drugs". This so-called War" diverts huge amounts of both money and attention from underlying social problems, incarcerating millions, clogging our court system, heavily punishing many for victimless "crimes", removing millions from voters rolls, and all the while neither going after the Big Pushers with major bank accounts and fleets of boats and planes, nor attempting to rehabilitate real people with addiction problems.
