GREENS' CALL FOR AN END TO THE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ
Fate of Anti-war Majority Sealed LONG Before 'Super Tuesday'
By contrast, ALL Green candidates seek a speedy end to the Occupation'
The Green Party best represents America's majority on a number of issues, especially those of ending the occupation of Iraq, and of impeaching both Cheney and Bush for high crimes & misdemeanors. Well over 50% of Americans polled want the US our of Iraq and our officials held to account for their behaviors.

With Media decisions determining debate participants, and without party insistence upon all contenders being allowed to speak, a sadly silent majority of Americans who would like to see us OUT of Iraq, have lost any representation in decision making as Kucinich and Edwards bow out of the race. Rep. Dennis Kucinich who had recently announced that he would the house floor to seek the impeachment of George W. Bush for high crimes and misdemeanors, has backed down on that move as he seeks to fight to retain his seat in Congress now threatened by moderates not advocating impeachment nor a halt to war funding.

Greens are dissappointed by this move, especially since nearly all attention to the impeachable offenses have been deflected by the hype and cerimony of the little-democratic exercise known in the US as the Primary Process. With a bit of examination it can be seen for what it is, a charade to (mis)direct the Public Attention away from controversial issues such as the appalling things this government is doing in our names at home and abroad.
